Amendments to rule 38 of the Solicitors' Conduct Rules

The Legal Profession Uniform Law Australian Solicitors’ Conduct Amendment (No 2) Rules 2022 (PDF, 129.0 KB) were made by the Legal Services Council on 19 April 2022. 

The Rules amend the Legal Profession Uniform Law Australian Solicitors’ Conduct Rules 2015 by repealing rule 38, which relates to returning judicial officers, and reinstating the version of rule 38 that was in force immediately prior to 1 April 2022. 

The amendments to rule 38 commenced on 22 April 2022.
