Professor Jenni Lightowlers is the Dean of Deakin Law School. She is a Vice Chancellor’s Distinguished Fellow. Previously, Professor Lightowlers held the position of Deputy Chancellor of Deakin University and chaired the University Legislation Committee. She was a member of the Advisory Committee to the Law School.
Professor Lightowlers has a deep understanding of the university and higher education sectors, particularly their compliance and operational issues. She is a leading advisor to universities.
Professor Lightowlers is a practising solicitor and a founding partner of the boutique law firm, Francis Abourizk Lightowlers. She is one of Australia’s most respected lawyers in the field of technology innovation and commercialisation.
